Since yesterday was the last day off we will have for a while, we allowed ourselves a lazy day. No picnic, no parks, no do-it-yourself fireworks. We did have a nice family dinner on the back porch at about 8:30 pm and then went to Eagle Island State Park, 10 minutes away for a great fireworks display.
Since fireworks are legal here in Idaho, you can see them everywhere throughout the valley. And the weather was beautiful, low 70's last night. The only downside to the evening was when Steven got a small cut on his hand and the 35 minutes of waiting in line to get out of the park.
Fireworks show...$4.00, band-aid...$.50, the freedom to do whatever we want with our family...priceless.
